Description: SFPUC’s 180-million-gal-per-day Harry Tracy Water Treatment Plant (HTWTP) underwent a major upgrade to improve its reliability after an earthquake. The driven H Piles required a elaborate welding plan for anchorage, so a simpler design using HRC 100 Series T-heads and HRC 555 T-heads were used.
